Collaborating with International Health Services

While Para Ella operates independently, we are proud to work closely with International Health Services (IHS) during our medical missions to Central America. IHS is a respected organization with a long history of providing healthcare and humanitarian aid in underserved regions. By joining forces, we are able to maximize our impact, bringing comprehensive care to communities that would otherwise lack access to essential medical services.

Our collaboration with IHS allows us to pool resources, share expertise, and reach more people. IHS supports our mission by helping to organize logistics, providing additional medical staff, and coordinating community outreach efforts. Together, we set up mobile clinics that deliver cervical cancer screenings, offer health education, and address other pressing medical needs.

Although we are not formally partnered, the synergy between Para Ella and IHS ensures that our shared goals—improving health outcomes and empowering individuals—are met effectively. This collaborative approach not only strengthens our mission but also fosters a spirit of unity and shared purpose in the communities we serve.

Why We Focus on Cervical Cancer

Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable and treatable forms of cancer when detected early, yet it remains a leading cause of death for women in low-resource areas. Many women don’t have access to routine screenings, and as a result, the disease often goes undetected until it’s too late. By focusing on early detection and education, we’re working to change that narrative.
